Online Lean Training Works! We have proven this – and that means that we can offer training all over the world in both Danish and English. We put together the program according to your needs. You can be a group from a farm, a group of advisers – or just one person.
We just trained 10 people from Dairy Extension at North Carolina State University
Together with the university, we created a tailor-made program that ran over 8 weeks. Each week we had two hours of teaching with theory, assignment submission and discussion. And there were many good discussions while we were teaching the material. This is not least due to the fact that we switched between theory and practice – and that the participants were very committed.
The Lean Farming® course helped our dairy Extension team
Dairy farming today looks so different than 20 or even 10 years ago. The responsibilities of farm owners and managers continue to evolve as farms become more efficient and incorporate more technology and data analytics into their management strategies.
The Lean Farming® course helped our dairy Extension team identify areas on the farm that we can help producers target to reduce waste. Most importantly, applying LEAN strategies to managing the business and employee interactions is one piece we are particularly excited to implement.
COVID put some challenges in place for us to complete the course, but Susanne and her team worked to make virtual delivery of the course useful and applicable to our farms and our team.
Stephanie H. Ward, Assistant Professor, Dairy Extension, North Carolina State University
Thank you, Susanne. I only have kudos to offer to you for leading this 1) online and 2) in a language other than your native one. You’re already a rock star in my mind! I look forward to the next session.
Brittany Whitmire, North Carolina State University
